Designed for those seeking bucket-list experiences without the time commitment, these trips are 4 to 7 days in length, showcasing the UK’s most iconic locations. From gentle walks through breathtaking landscapes to exploring cultural treasures, these itineraries feature carefully crafted routes with shorter distances and plenty of opportunities to savour the journey.

On a Taste of Trip the focus is on comfort and indulgence, with handpicked accommodations offering a touch of luxury and charm. By spending multiple nights in some of the accommodations, there is ample time to unwind and discover beyond the trails. The trips highlight regional flavours and history, as well as culture and culinary excellence, ensuring your holiday is as much about taste as it is about travel.

How Difficult is the Walking?

Our Taster Trips feature gentle, approachable hiking routes designed to suit a wide range of abilities, with most trips falling within Grade 1 to 2 level and maximum daily distances of 15km (9 miles). All walking routes are available on a tailored navigational app, making route finding straightforward.

Elevation changes are kept manageable, typically under 300m (900 ft), ensuring an enjoyable pace for walkers of varying fitness levels. If you require, the flexible itineraries offer the option to include a transfer and on most days, you can chose a shorter, easier walk if you prefer.

While most routes are designed to be less demanding, some iconic trails, such as the West Highland Way or South West Coastal Path, may include longer, unavoidable sections. For these exceptions, rest days are included to allow you time to recharge and fully savour the experience.

Where will you stay?
